Cocktail-size Oceanic Oatcakes – (4 tubs: 3 x Grainy plus 1 x Chilli)

These unique oatcakes, made by Skibhoul Bakery on Unst, contain just three ingredients - oatmeal, vegetable oil and seawater, harvested from where the North Sea and the Atlantic meet.  These small, triangular, ‘grainy’ oceanic oatcakes are ideal for canapes, cheeseboards, and accompany pates, smoked salmon and soft cheeses perfectly. Their size also makes them a great healthy snack for children. 

This selection of cocktail oceanic oatcakes includes one tub of chilli-flavoured oatcakes and three tubs of plain ‘grainy’ oatcakes. Adding chilli flakes was first thought of for “Up Helly Aa”, the fire festivals held in many communities in Shetland between January and March. The chilli oatcakes have a pleasant 'firey kick'! Choose your toppings to complement this. The contrast of plain and chilli oatcakes works well for canapes, or simply as a healthy snack. 

Wheat free, additive free, with natural sea salt from pure sea-water. These contain gluten. Vegetarian Society Approved. ‘Best before’ date is 9 months from baking.  Each tub contains approximately 40 oatcakes.
