The unique ingredient of these oatcakes made by Skibhoul Bakery is sea-water, collected from the Northern extremity of Shetland, where the Atlantic Ocean and North Sea merge. This water, containing natural sea-salt and healthy trace minerals is combined with crunchy toasted medium oatmeal, which is wholegrain and low GI to help maintain a healthy heart.
These thick, hand baked oatcakes are wheat free and additive free. They may contain gluten (from the oatmeal). Vegetarian Society Approved. ‘Best before’ date is 9 months from baking.
