Shetland Butter is made by Shetland Farm Dairies, a co-operatively-owned dairy with all of its milk supplied from dairy farms in Shetland. Their cows live a fantastic life, breathing in clean fresh Shetland air and being tended by farmers who know each and every one of them, a benefit of living within a small herd.
Their skilled butterman churns small batches of creamy pure Shetland butter, lightly salted, distinctive and delicious. Care is taken over every drop which reflects in the purity of the end product. The 250g pots are hand finished, ready to be sent out to customers across the UK for their toast, sandwiches and to make all their cooking all the more unctuous.
